Twenty fishermen from Bung Ben Village in Southern Thailand lost their boats in the December 2004 tsunami and waited over three years before they found the help they were looking for.

In September 2008, Operation Blessing Thailand provided these 20 families with new fishing boats and engines, just what they needed to restart their lives using the skills they know best.

There were many smiles and words of gratitude as the men were presented with their new boats and an official certificate of ownership.
