Operation Blessing provided a business loan in the form of 100 squid pots for Mr. Meesuk and Mrs. Ladda. The cost of these pots was 18,120 baht (over $400 US). OB also helped to repair Mr. Meesuk’s damaged boat.
Mr. Meesuk has reported that having more pots has already increased productivity and he is able to make more money to support his family. He has already been able to repay 8000 baht of the loan.
Mr. Meesuk and Mrs. Ladda’s son, Bramawt, is part of Operation Blessing’s Bless a Child program in Chumporn, southern Thailand. OB pays for his school tuition, uniforms, and daily lunches. They also provide annual medical check-ups and cover any other additional medical expenses.
Bramawt also participates in a kid’s meeting each month with the other 20 children supported by the Bless a Child program. The have a fun filled day with games, songs, craft, Bible activities and food.
